A mixed weekend for our Senior teams this weekend. Our 1st XV ran out comfortable winners in a 45-6 win away to Ogmore Vale. With 4 remaining fixtures against Bryncethin (H), Tonmawr (A), Nantymoel (H) and Cefn Cribwr (A), the target must be a top 4 finish in the league.
Our 2nd XV will be disappointed to lose a toughly fought away game against Nantyffyllon. In a keenly anticipated top of the table clash, it was Nantyffyllon who came out on top in a 17-14 win, securing The Sports a, what could turn out to be, vital losing bonus point. The result leaves The Sports just 3 points clear at the top of the table, with both sides having 5 league games left to play.
